Description & Tasting Notes 

Maille Horseradish Mustard combines the smooth taste of true Dijon mustard with bits of sharp horseradish (“raifort” or “strong root” in French) for intense flavor and distinctive aroma. Made with Maille vinegar, this unique recipe and process is marked by cutting, not crushing the mustard grains, in order to yield a fine and subtle texture. Light yellow in color, with visible brown mustard grains and horseradish pieces, this mustard’s peppery flavor adds a tasty punch to any dish and can also help to balance sweet flavors.



Maille Horseradish Mustard won a Bronze Medal at the 2012 World-Wide Mustard Competition in a category traditionally dominated by U.S. mustard makers.


Serving Suggestions

Maille Horseradish Mustard pairs nicely with roast beef, chicken, sausages, grilled meat and vegetables, sandwiches, deviled eggs, vinaigrettes, and summer BBQ favorites such as hot dogs. Combine it with lemon juice and crème fraiche as a delicious sauce for smoked salmon.
